Lisbon born, London raised bibliophile, tea addict and critical thinker- although not always at the same time.

I am a freelance journalist and have written features and opinion pieces for gal-dem.com, Pride Magazine and The Voice Newspaper.

I started out my creative journey by performing and starred in several Dreamarts Street2Stage initiative productions such as “Can you live without it?” (2006) and “Overspill” (2009) performed at the Cochrane theatre in the West End. Later “Carnival! The Musical” (2011) at the Royal Opera House Linbury Theatre.

I also trained as a Youth Arts Leader (AQA) and wrote a full length dance/theatre piece based on “The Red Shoes” by Hans Christian Anderson (Cockpit Theatre, 2010)

I experiment with writing poetry and spoken word, and built my confidence by performing at several established open mic nights such as Word Up, Chill Pill and Rich Mix. As a result, I was asked to a reading of my work for the inauguration of the TedXWomen at UCL.

I am currently studying for an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media (MA) at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
